FILM IS DEAD

Posted:  May 30th, 2010 - NEWS

This week concludes the third and final episode of Zacuto’s “THE GREAT CAMERA SHOOTOUT 2010”, a comprehensive side-by-side camera test, pitting the new lineup of DSLR cameras against 35mm film. An extremely professional and extensive test that includes color, resolution, latitude, lighting and green screen tests, including both the standard chart tests and real life-examples. Insightful feedback from some of the industry’s leading technicians makes this the most conclusive and relevant DSLR camera test to date and marks a milestone in the debate. A must see for any producer, director of photography or filmmaker! Is film really dead? The jury may be out, but it sure looks like the end is near. The test can be seen at the Zacuto website.
